There were 3 of us photogs on the boat so it wasn't really the exclusive i was looking for seen it was my first time shooting from the water, but with Mickey Smith on the boat their was no shortage of laughter, here's one of Mickey's mates surfing a pretty big wave, whenever Tom is around their's always a sense of calm even when he had this bearing down on him, the calm he has also comes out in his surfing, Tom more often than not will come out of a white water foam ball as he did on this one once it exploded on his heels
